This year's symposium of the Research Training Group 2482 / ModISC took place on 22 and 23 September.
In addition to numerous guests from science, such as Josef Michl (U Colorado), Sebastian Reineke (TU Dresden), Peter Skabara (U Glasgow) and Patrick Zobel (U Vienna), as well as from the application area, Christian May (Fraunhofer FEP), and digitisation, John D. Jolliffe (NFDI4Chem), numerous PhD students from the Research Training Group 2482 (HHU), 2591 (Cologne/Bonn) and IRTG 2678 (Münter) also presented their research results. In addition to the very exciting talks, numerous participants made posters, which were lively discussed in a poster session. The best poster - by Dr. Bárbara Noguiera de Faria - was awarded a poster prize.
