We are excited to welcome Dr. Priya Pandey as a new postdoctoral researcher in our Inorganic Photoactive Materials research group. Dr. Pandey brings a strong background in coordination chemistry, photoluminescence, and organometallic systems, with expertise that will significantly enhance our ongoing work on advanced functional materials.
Dr. Pandey completed her Ph.D. at IIT Bombay, where her doctoral research focused on the synthetic, structural, photophysical, and magnetic studies of metal complexes derived from luminescent ligand systems. Her work has been published in top-tier journals such as Inorganic Chemistry, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, reflecting her deep engagement with both the theoretical and experimental aspects of luminescent inorganic materials.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Dr. Pandey is skilled in air-sensitive synthetic techniques, Schlenk line operations, and a wide range of spectroscopic and crystallographic tools including NMR, SCXRD, and ICP-AES. Her hands-on experience with material design, synthesis, and characterization makes her a valuable addition to our team.
During her postdoctoral tenure with us, Dr. Pandey will focus on the synthesis and characterization of luminescent nanoparticles, contributing to our ongoing research into next-generation materials for optoelectronic and sensing applications.
Welcome Priya!
