Distinction for Markus' research on luminescent thermometers

Markus' and Andries Meijerink's (Universiteit Utrecht) common publication about the underlying theory of luminescent thermometers was recognized as one of the top cited works of the journal Advanced Theory and Simulations of the publisher Wiley. We are glad that the theoretical framework is so helpful to the community in its research of luminescent thermometers and are grateful for this distinction.
