Simon Metz joined the Research Training Group 2482 / ModISC in October 2020 and contributed ever since to its success. In particular, his commitment as a Representative of the ModISC doctoral researcher was of great value to ModISC. During his doctorate in the research group of Christel Marian (Theoretical and Computational Chemistry) he also contributed to many publications.
Today, 3rd July, 2025, Simon Metz defended his thesis with the title “A Quantum Chemical Approach to Singlet and Triplet Excitation Energy Transfer” successfully.
